Art Sales Catalogues online (ACS) (1600 – 1900)

Connect

This resource is an extension of Lugt’s Repertoire online. It provides online access to many digitized catalogs that are referred to in Lugt, covering European and American auctions from 1600-1900. Volumes 1-3 (1600-1900) are available online.

The online edition of the Répertoire des Catalogues de Ventes Publiques by Frits Lugt. Lugt’s Répertoire is one of the most widely consulted art historical reference works and lists more than 100,000 art sales catalogs of the period 1600 to 1925 from libraries in Europe and the United States.
