British History Online – New Resource!
Watson Library now subscribes to British History Online – “…the digital library containing some of the core printed primary and secondary sources for the medieval and modern history of the British Isles”. British History Online was created by the Institute of Historical Research and the History of Parliament Trust.
The site includes items such as 16th and 17th century journals from the House of Commons, historical diaries and early maps of London. The database is searchable and also has browse access.
