DYABOLA stands for DYnamically Accumulating dataBase On Literature about Antiquity. DYABOLA is primarily a complete program for the administration of libraries, subject catalogues, inventory books, photograph archives and any other form of text and image documents. It includes the subject catalogs of the German Archaeological Institute in Rome, the Bibliography of Iberian Archaeology from the German Archaeological Institute in Madrid, and the Archaeology of Roman Provinces from RGK Frankfurt. It also includes the Census of antique works of art and architecture known in the Renaissance, the List of classical art works known to Winckelmann, the Winckelmann bibliography, and the Datenbank der attischen Grabreliefs.
