The Friends of the Thomas J. Watson Library, founded in 1999, brings together enthusiasts of books and learning and supporters of research and scholarship. Through their contributions and donations, the Friends play an active role in expanding and preserving one of the great art libraries of the world. To be a Friend of Watson Library is to be a friend of scholarship and intellectual life throughout the Museum and far beyond.
