Description: Simultaneously and efficiently search across nearly two million scholarly items – including journal articles, books, essays, exhibition catalogs, dissertations, conference proceedings, Festschriften, and reviews – from the following core databases: Bibliography of the History of Art, Artbibliographies Modern, Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals, and Index Islamicus. This class will also focus on American Periodical Series Online 1740-1900, a searchable database of digitized images of American magazines and journals published from colonial days to the dawn of the 20th century.
Location: The class will be held in the Watson Library Seminar Room 1. To get there, take the Watson Library stairs or elevator to Stacks Level 2, turn right, and follow the signs for Seminar Room 1.
Please note that since the Seminar Room can accommodate a maximum of 15 people, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
