After marking for email, you must click Update List. If you saved a keyword search for Hokusai, you will receive email notification for new books about Hokusai. You may also click on Mark To Remove if you no longer want email notification.
Tips for using My Library Account
By clicking on “Holds” in My Library Account, you can view a list of requests you have placed for newly cataloged, Offsite, or missing items. The list will indicate if the item is available to be picked up at the Circulation Desk.
You can set up our email notification feature by first saving ANY search (e.g. author, subject, title, keyword, or subject) in WATSONLINE and then “Marking” it for email under “Saved Searches” in your library account. When a newly cataloged item in WATSONLINE meets your search terms, you will receive an email.
“My Reading History” is a list of all items you have checked out since June 2005. This includes some of the items checked out to you using the manual system. This list also includes items that may have already been returned to Watson. To view your currently checked out items, click on “Checked Out Items”.
Please alert the circulation desk staff if you have questions about your list of checked out books. Direct any other questions or comments about this new service to Lisa Beidel at x2344 or lisa.harms@metmuseum.org. We look forward to your feedback.
