Online Resources for Asian Art Research
Description: This class will explore various e-resources for researching Asian Art history, with a focus on Chinese and Japanese art. We will cover full-text journal databases, image databases, important online reference tools and free web resources such as OmuRAA and JAIRO. Most of the resources are in English, with a few foreign language databases included. Reading comprehension of Chinese or Japanese is helpful, but not required.
Class Level: Level 2 – I have some familiarity with the Watson Library and am looking for resources beyond the basics.
Location: This class will be held in the Uris Center Rooms. See Uris Center map (link accessible inside the Museum).
