Photocopying, scanning, and photographing library materials

All library users may photocopy or scan library materials free of charge. Photocopiers are available on the 1st floor, and on Stack 2 and Stack 1 for staff with stack privileges. There are two color digital scanners available on the 1st floor of the library for scanning to email or to a flash drive. Some items in the collection are brittle and/or fragile and may not be photocopied or scanned. Please ask Circulation Desk staff for assistance.

Requests for photographs of Watson Library materials must be directed to the Image Library at 212-650-2262.

Digital cameras without flash may be used in the Reading Room to photograph images from ligrary materials.
