Recall and Offsite policies
Library materials that are checked out to Museum staff will be recalled if a reference librarian determines that there are no other copies available for the reader’s use. Books checked out to Museum research staff usually take 48 hours (or longer) to retrieve, and that some materials may not be available for recall.
Materials housed Offsite can be retrieved unless they are available in another MMA library, or unless the reader prefers not to wait for the 24-48 hours it takes to have them delivered to Watson.
