RKD Databases
The Netherlands Institute for Art History (Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie) provides and continues to update several art related databases.
RKDartists& contains details of about 360,000 Dutch and other artists about whom the RKD possesses sundry forms of documentation. RKDimages is a database containing about 85,000 descriptions and images of primarily Dutch and Flemish works of art from the fourteenth up to and including the nineteenth century.
