Security

The security and preservation of the collection are of  great importance to the library. All library users must check coats, bags larger than 9 x 12 x 3 inches, and laptop cases in lockers in Watson Library. If the lockers are all full, checkrooms are available in the Great Hall and near the 81st St. entrance to the Museum. Only papers and books essential to research may be taken into the library. Strict compliance with this policy is mandatory for all library users.
